Skeleton

It appears I am still adjusting to the country life....I came across this last night and had no idea what the heck it was so I called in my resident expert....my hubby.

I wasn't sure if it was alive or what...come to find out it's the skeleton of a "jar fly"...cicada...or what ever they call them around here.

 I found it facinating that it was in such perfect condition...how the heck did the bug get out of that thing?  As apparently it's not really a "skeleton" but a shell....amazing.

Of course my ever curious Wy just had to check it out...
