Thankful Thursday...A Good Man...With A Cool Head

I had a pretty much typical day at work today....not alot of people seemed to want their hair done so I worked on inventory and helped out at the desk some. I got home about 7 or so and was preparing dinner for the boys when I took a bite of kielbasa and promptly inhaled some...needless to say I started choking...felt like I was trying to suck air through a pin hole. I of course panicked...DH was right there calming me down, ready to do the heimlich and all that. Holding my hair as I spit stuff into the sink, and keeping the kids calm. Thank God for him. I seem to do it a bit lately, I'm not sure why, but it couldn't of happened at a better time. He's always so calm in a crisis. It took a few minutes but I made it through. Scary though when you can't breathe. Took D a bit to get over it, he gets emotional when he's scared. He was tied to my hip the rest of the night. My hat's off to my hubby tonight, he's the best. I sure am thankful for him.

I've seen Toasts to Tuesdays, Wordfull and Wordless Wednesdays, so I thought why not Thankful Thursdays...

I'm thankful for:

The rain we've had the last two days.

That Wy woke up early and decided

to read a book instead of waking me up.

The clients at work today, those that decided

to have more done, and those that just walked

in.

I had to drive home from work a new way (roads

were muddy) and a beautiful sight

it was.

I'm sure there are more things I could post, but I don't want to overwhelm everyone. Jump in and give it a try. Be Thankful this Thursday.
