I am fortuante enough to have a riding stable nearby that the owner lets me just grab a horse and go. I had been riding Sugar, a beautiful double registered mare. She's paint and walking horse. Smooth and not much fazes her at all.
Today I went for a new ride. Apache a very big paint. He proved to be willing if just a bit more feisty than Sugar. We had a great ride in the Nantahala National Forest, hoping to do it again soon.

Sounded like a fun way to spend a few hours of quality time for yourself!
Beautiful horse. You will have to tell Ed about this stable as he's really interesting in doing more riding. :)
