Hmmmmm, at first I thought they were walnuts encased in their fuzzy outer skins before they actually look like walnuts, but now I'm not sure....maybe they are fuzzy tennis balls on a tree...he, he....I will have to think on it some more.....
You're right! They are on a black walnut tree across the street from me.
I was going to say kiwis at first because I couldn't figure out what size they were in the photo.But they are black walnuts, eh?Cool!Do you harvest them to eat?~Lisa
Some around here do. I don't care for walnuts much I'm a pecan girl myself.
