Whew! I’ve been away for a while around here. Overwhelmed waiting for that foal to be born. But now she’s here! And now I can spend more time at home..and on the puter reading my favorite blogs again! yay!

Looks like you’ve been up to lots of stuff, too. I’ll have to go back and get caught up.

I've been to the Biltmore when we lived in South Carolina.
We went during the Fall so nothing was growing, but we did tour the ground and inside. What an impressive place.
I was most impressed with the chess table that Napoleon had brought as a gift and had actually placed a game on. Oh! And the elevator....the first one built in the US. Very cool!

Your orchid photos are gorgeous. I love them. Sure wish I could grow them. I know they would die after just one day with me. lol!
