Traveling Home....

It took us about 6 hours or so to get home from Atl..a normally three hour trip. We stopped at a couple of places along the way. I wanted to go to Old Navy and get the boys some clothes, the problem was finding one along the way that I could find. I called my DH and he found one in Buford Ga...perfect....I don't have to stray too far from the interstate...as I don't know my way around all that much, I didn't want to get to far away and get lost. The directions were simple enough...just pass the Mall Of Georgia on the right....hmm.....must have missed it....lets turn around and try again....nope.....where the heck is that damn store....called hubby again....same thing.... D and I decided to stop and have lunch while we tried to figure out where it was....we went to my new favorite place....

We found Moe's on our quest to get something to eat the night of Cirque...it's a fast food place...I was pleasantly surprised, it was wonderful, the food was hot, quick and delicious. We liked it so much that we had lunch at one on the way home...

D was very happy about it...

We also found out that Old Navy is in the Mall Of Georgia....figures...so we went there... they had this statue out front so I made D climb up so I could get a pic. That thing was huge...

Now every time I go to Atl. I pass this place and wonder what the heck it is...the name is very interesting and it's bugged me everytime I go past it. So this time I was going to stop and see.

Yep....Goats On The Roof...see why I had to stop? There actually are goats on the roof...they look quite happy about it too.

There were two buildings that connected with this walk wayso they could go back and forth, and a bike attached to pulleyso you could peddle and it would bring a cup of food to the goats.It was pretty neat, they had little houses up there for shelterand places for them to climb in and out of.

Turns out it's a small town country store with various bric 'a brac , foods, stones and what nots. Kind of cute for the tourists coming up from the city, but as I live close to Cherokee NC it wasn't anything I haven't seen before...but at least I now know what the heck it is.

All around we had a great time and look forward to our summer invasion of my sister's house this year.
