Nature Center Critters

Wy's class took a field trip to the WNC Nature Center this past Friday.  It was a great day with a somewhat unstructured chaos feel to it.  It seemed it was field trip day for several different counties that day.  Here are some of the critters we saw.

It was a wonderful afternoon spent with both my boys and I look forward to visiting this place again.  Next month they have an after hours event for photographers, I'm thinking I might just have to go...

Hi Colleen, I loved going to the nature center when my 3 were young.
I hope you get to go on the after hour photo event, that would be really cool. You take such good photos.

Great shots! Love the Nemo and his dad photo. =)

A Gray Wolf was just spotted to the north of our farm in the mountains. We don't have wolves here and they think this one followed a herd of elk down from Idaho!

Good photos! I like Nemo and his dad, too :-) Just this year, I've started seeing coyotes, now and then, when I am out early in the morning. Never saw them around here before....
