Sunday Stills....Your Best Shot

The Challenge....pick your two best shots of the last year and tell why they are your favorites.....
I've done 18 Sunday Stills challenges.....hmmmm.

This one was from the Happiness Is challenge.

I love it for what it shows...A Father leading the way and offering support when needed.
It just melts my heart to see my husband with his sons.

This one is from the Fur, Feathers, and Fins challenge.

It shows Molly, who we had for a short 10 months, not nearly long enough.
She showed up one day out of the blue, nervous and unsure of her welcome.
She proved to be an incredible dog.  Sweet natured with everyone, never barked unless
someone or something was in the yard, she didn't even poop in the yard!
Wonderful friend to my boys, always happy to see them and play.
A friend to me when I just wanted to sit outside and appreciate the quiet.
She was gone just as quick as she showed up.
We still miss her, and always will.

Both wonderful shots. I know you are heart broken over Molly, as I am about Avo. But there is always hope for return. I once had a dog that disappeared when my neighbors mysteriously moved in the night, and one day a year later I had the overwhelming desire to go to the animal shelter and he was there! We had a joyous 16 years together before his passing.

You have a wonderful family, and the shot of your boys with their dad is very special indeed.

You chose two wonderful photos! I would think it would be very hard to narrow down only two shots...you have taken so many wonderful photos in the past year!

Happy Sunday....=)

That photo of Molly tugs at my heartstrings. It's just beautiful. And so IS Molly. Don't give up hope. You never know. But I'm so sorry she went missing, too. :(

The first photo also tugs at my heart strings, as a Mom with two sons. There is just something so beautiful about seeing a Father and his children and their close bond together. Your photo, so very soft and dreamy looking, portrays that feeling perfectly.

great shot of dad and the boys. I love the eyes of Molly. Sorry to hear that you only had her a short time.
