My FIL called last night to see if he and his brother could use her to go opossum hunting....Now this is the first time in 14 years that he's ever wanted to go hunting of any kind. I don't know exactly what they expect her to do, yes she does sniff stuff out on the property, usually lizards, squirrels, chipmunks and the like. However, she doesn't bark when she finds it, she usually just sniffs and goes on her merry way. She's pretty silent most times.
I'm almost tempted to go with them just to see how amusing this could be. I'm betting she will tag along with them, may even find something to chase. She will not let them know she's going, she'll just take off like lightning, as she's quite quick when motivated. She will then come back to them and wonder why they couldn't keep up with her. After a while I imagine she'll get bored and come back home to her nice warm bed, maybe bark at the scary animal across the road going through the woods, which will probably be two older men looking for the silent white dog that was supposed to help them....

Molly is beautiful! She doesn't look like a 'possum hunter to me. LOL. I would be more worried about hunters that don't hunt often...
She's a cutie! Just think of all the good stories you can tell if you let her tag along.
She looks like she is part laborador and they are great dogs!
That was too funny.. poor Molly just cause she is a hunting type dog, they assumed she will want to hunt!
If you tag along, bring your camera..and wear orange.. better safe then sorry!
PS she is so pretty!
She is so beautiful. Great shot of her. ANd I agree, she is such a gentle dog.

She has a kind eye and gentle face. I bet they just want her around as a companion...and because it probably just seems cool to have a dog when you're hunting. hehe!
Beautiful photo!

Oh...and...um....err...what do they plan to DO with that opossum when they've killed it?
You won't be expected to skin and cook it....will you? eeeek!
