I have been house bound this week as my car has been in the shop and I haven't been able to get out to take many pictures. This weeks challenge was going to be an archive, until I realized that my MIL has some of these beautiful plants at her house. She lives just up the hill and I could take the four wheeler!
I love these plants. Not only for their color but the leaves look like butterflies and the flowers are so dainty and cute. Enjoy!

Always fun to visit you!!
I always forget to add color to my garden with plants that have interesting leaves- those are simply lovely.
These are lovely. Did you know what they are called? Nice choice. :)
You are right! They do look like butterflies :D
Beautiful! :)
Oooh! They are so pretty. They remind me of pin wheels. Great pics! Sure hope your car will be back home and good as new soon.

I am lost when I don't have my car. Great pix tho!
Beautiful shots. What pretty plants.
Lovely ones, most of the time, we have green ones, but I noticed some rounded leaves and they are red.
Very pretty. Mine haven't bloomed in awhile. Probably need some attention...
Very nice, I think my mom (Dibear) has some purple Basil for today...:-)
Very pretty. Never seen any of those before.
Really pretty plants...do you know what they are? I would like to have some if they would survive the summers. Carmon
Great shots...nice compositions too!
I hadn't thought of them as looking like butterflies.
I love plants with colourful leaves - that way, if (when?) they don't bloom you are not left with only shades of green.
They are Oxalis, although I don't know the exact species. Often called Wood Sorrel by common name. The leaves taste like lemons and can be added to salads in small quantities. Since they contain oxallic acid, they are not recommended in large quantities, and are often listed on plants toxic to livestock.
Lovely shots!
Very pretty.
They are right beautiful. Never seen like this plant before for me. Have a happy Sunday.
Beautiful..lovely purple:)
I LOVE the shamrock! If I lived closer I'd steal a piece:)
I love them. Great, and very pretty like everyone else says!
