It's Batman To The Rescue!

These little guys were found hiding behind a rock that DH knocked loose. I'm not sure exactly what bats generally do in the winter, but hubby moved them to another crack in the rock behind the house, they were a little upset but not hurt.
tiny little thing, but cute....for a bat

I couldn't really tell what they were. They're so furry! Icky. I found a dead one on my front step once many years ago in another house. I wonder what critter got it!

I've only ever seen fruit bats, which I don't think are true bats at all.
They are cute as buttons, buttons with wings & ears ;)

How cute are they!! Hayman went exploring a few mines this weekend and he came across several bats sleeping on the sides of the dirt walls. Very cool...but he didn't take a camera, so no photos.

There is a little something for you over at my blog....stop by when you can...=)

Your blog looks so cute!

I bet the bats hiberate in the winter. Those two are so tiny. I'm impressed that you guys relocated the little dears :)
