These knitting needles from Knit Picks the Harmony Wood Collection.
I feel that if you are going to spend alot of time knitting you might as well get the good stuff. They feel great in the hand, don't make alot of noise like the aluminum needles, and are gorgeous to look at.
I think it's my new obsession. I've got them in straights, circulars, and dpns. Not all of the sizes but I'm working my way up to a complete set.
Close up...much better than plain old wood.
