Monkey Bread

One of the girls at work started talking about Monkey Bread. I being almost 40 years old had never heard of it. After seeing the recipe I decided it was worth a try, after all it has alot of my favorite things.

  1. 3 cans biscuits (10 count)
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 1 cup brown sugar
  4. 1 stick butter
  5. 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Take all the biscuits and cut into 1/4ths
this is what the pile looked like after the boys
got done....always enlist help...
pour white sugar and cinnamon into a large
ziploc and coat pieces of biscuit put into a butterd bundt pan melt butter and brown sugar
bring to a boil....let cool for a couple of minutes
pour over biscuits
bake at 350 for 40 minutes...
this is what it looked like when it came out
let it cool for about 15 minutes or so
then flip it over onto plate.
I add a glaze of just powdered sugar
and water.
the final product....yum

Wow! Your monkey bread looks so much better than mine. I usually make mine from scratch, and I have a tough time with homemade bread here at 7,000 ft elevation.
I think I will try it made with those bisquits next time.

Your final product looks scrumptious!!

I bet it didn't last too long, eh?
