Macro Monday

No Sunday Stills this week, as from the time Ed posted the challenge all it did was rain. No sunrise or sunset to be seen.  So here I am for Macro Monday.  Was out the other day between showers, got some pics of the daylily seed pods and the pines.

For more Macro shots

I like these a lot, especially the first. The background here has a soft, Impressionist feel to it, which contrasts with the sharp clarity of the seed pods and plants in a way that is almost surreal...

Really nice! Are these straight out of the camera? The backgrounds are stunning.

Well done! I didn't have sun either..so I just told everyone to imagine a sunset in my dreary photo:(

Sorry about the rain and grey days. At least you didn't have snow, though, right? hehe!

That second shot is my favorite for it's simplicity. The last one is so delicate and lovely, too.

You have really been hammered back there first with all the snow and now the rain!! I bet you will be glad when the sun shines for days on end!!

Great shots! I really like the first one and the texture you used!
