My Husband's Gonna Kill Me....

A few years ago we went to TGIFridays and had their Jack Daniels if you have had this pleasure you will surely LOVE this next recipe. I came upon this a few years ago and have modified it some. My hubby is gonna freak when he finds out I posted it, he thinks I should keep it only for's that good. Use it on just about anything, steak, chicken, shrimp, you name it. Brush it on at the grill, but be careful it's got lots of sugar and can burn if you get too distracted....I come by this knowledge by experience....
Here are the ingredients...

Here it is on the stove getting all thick and yummy...

  1. 1 1/3 cup Dark brown sugar
  2. 2/3 cup water
  3. head of garlic
  4. olive oil
  5. 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  6. 1 cup pineapple juice
  7. 1 Tbsp crushed pineapple
  8. 1 small shallot ( minced )
  9. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  10. 1/4 cup Teriyaki Sauce
  11. 1 Tbsp Soy sauce
  12. 2 Tbsp Jack Daniels

Cut off top of garlic head, pour Olive Oil over and roast. I do mine in the toaster oven for about 45 mins. at 375 after it's done I usually just smoosh it with the side of the knife. Use as much or as little as you like

Combine water, sugar, pineapple juice, teriyaki and soy sauce in pot. Bring to boil. Add the rest of the ingredients, simmer at low until reduced by half. Be cautious not to burn it. Stir occasionally.
